Where to drop your anchor in Sausalito: Anchorage can be found in Richardson Bay as noted in two areas marked on the map.  To go ashore tie up your dinghy for a short time at the small dock next to the Turney street launch ramp located between Salito's Restaurant and Wellingtons Wine Bar at the foot of Turney street. The Trident Restaurant  dock is another option if you plan to dine there and there is also the highly popular Fish Restaurant where you can tie your dinghy to the left of the Clipper Yacht Harbor fuel dock - note the strictly enforced two-hour tie up limit at the dinghy dock.
